UN Women

This UN Women report, developed under the ACT to End Violence against Women Programme with EU support, exposes the severe impact of global aid cuts, estimated at USD 78 billion, on women’s rights and civil society organizations. Based on a global survey of 428 organizations, it finds that funding losses are forcing service closures, halting prevention work, and weakening advocacy. Nearly 90% report reduced access to essential services, and only 5% believe they can sustain operations for two years or more.
